Uroczystość odsłonięcia tablicy "Pięciu prawd Polaków"

11 listopada br. w dzień odzyskania przez Polskę niepodległości odsłonięto tablicę „Pięciu prawd Polaków”. Tablica powstała staraniem Związku Dzieci Wojny i Kombatantów RP w Barlinku, a odsłonięta została w Europejskim Centrum Spotkań, ul. Leśna 1
w Barlinku.

Miejsce odsłonięcia tablicy nie jest przypadkowe. To tutaj w ECS co dzień przebywa duża ilość mieszkańców naszego miasta, zwłaszcza młodych. Wspomniana tablica, odnosi się do najważniejszych dla Polaków wartości: narodu, wiary, braterstwa, służby, ojczyzny. Takich tablic w Polsce jest już kilka.

 „Pięć prawd Polaków” spod znaku Rodła, będących uniwersalnym manifestem trwania polskości, zostało uchwalonych w Berlinie na I Kongresie Polaków w Niemczech 6 marca 1938r. Brzmią one:

  1. Jesteśmy Polakami;
  2. Wiara ojców naszych jest wiarą naszych dzieci;
  3. Polak Polakowi bratem;
  4. Co dzień Polak Narodowi służy;
  5. Polska Matką naszą - nie wolno mówić o Matce źle.
